A Kansas City Catholic church refused to renew the contract of a perfectly good organ player after he denied the church’s request to take a vow of celibacy (cause that’s worked so well in the past) and admit homosexuality is a sin.

The St. Agnes Catholic Church hierarchy summoned Joseph Nadeau into a closed-door meeting and told him that to continue as music director he needed to resign from the openly gay Kansas City’s Heartland Men’s Chorus, take a vow of celibacy and acknowledge that homosexuality is a disorder.

Nadeau did not comply, ending his last Sunday Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church with a pathetic rendition of “God Help the Outcasts.”
