Great review in The New York Times of Andrew Holleran’s new novel “Grief.” Holleran’s “Dancer From the Dance,” published in 1978, is a touchstone in modern gay literature. I haven’t read “Dancer From the Dance” but I’d like to see how it compares to Christopher Isherwoods’s brilliant novel about gay life set in Los Angeles, “A Single Man” (1964).

I am off to Borders….
